Kumiko Patterns
Our shoji are double sided, meaning kumiko (grid pattern) on both sides of the shoji paper for strength and support. The mock-ups below are 36" x 80" shoji doors scaled down. Starred (*) kumiko patterns cost an additional $100 to $200 per shoji depending on design and shoji size. Kumiko patterns without stars are included in the shoji pricing. Any kumiko pattern can have a lower door panel (panels add $150 per shoji). Kumiko pattern mock-ups are drawn up to scale for your approval before production.
